DefinitionA Student Response System (SRS) is a wireless response system that allows faculty to request information and for students to respond by using a "clicker" or hand-held response pad to send his or her information to a receiver.

Description:  When presented with a question, the student presses a button on a hand-held response pad or clicker, system records and displays the response per the instructor's preference. Student response system is a tool. student response system is a great helpful tool for teachers in collecting feedback from the students. In the market lot of tools are available and most of them are offering free service.SR system offers teacher to deliver flipped lessons to students and gather feedback from them.

Teachers can identify easily and respond to individual learning needs with the help of formative data. Student response system provides activate voice to the student to improve their independent thinking skills.

Here's how student response system works:

-Teacher creates SRS classrooms for students to join.

-In that classroom teacher can post videos, links, and files from Google Drive account. Include response prompts with each item that teacher post.

-Teacher will specify how many responses should gather from each student.

-When students sign into teachers SRS classroom they will see every new item posted for them. -If teacher posted a video it will play within the Response system environment.

Also Students can track their completion progress in their account dashboards

In the classroom, however, they usually aren't as eager to speak up especially in response to the teachers' questions. Engaging these digital learners to provide feedback requires meeting them on their own turf through technology.
