            “Media" refers to various ways of conveyance. Radio, TV, and the newspaper are some examples of different kinds of media. The word can also be used as a collective noun for the press or news reporting agencies. Media includes every broadcasting and narrow casting medium such as newspaper, magazines, TV, billboards, mail, telephone, fax and internet. Media is the plural of medium and can take a plural or singular verb depending on the sense intended.
                                     

In the technical world, "media" is also refers as a collective noun, but mention to different types of data storage options. Computer media can be removable drives, hard drives, CD-ROM or CD-Read disc, DVDs, USB drives, flash memory & floppy disks. For instance, if you want to bring your photos from your digital camera into a photo processing store media, ask you what kind of media your pictures are stored, are they stored on a Compact Disk or USB drive or on the flash memory card inside your camera? For all these reasons, it is useful to have a basic knowledge of what the different types are. Tools used to store and deliver information or data

Social media is becoming an integral part of life online as social websites and applications multiply. Maximum traditional online media include social integrant, such as comment fields for the participants. In business field, the social media is used for marketing their products, promote their brands, and connect to current customers and foster new business. Some of them are Facebook, Twitter, and Wikipedia etc.

Advantages Of Social Media In Education

  • Interactive education - more interesting and better explained issues.
  • Because you are anonymous shy people so not have to cope with stress.
  • Almost not limited knowledge
  • You can study almost everywhere, devices are portable
  • Everybody can study therefore no need for student selection etc.

Disadvantages Of Social Media In Education

  • No human human relation
  • Many information in the social media contain some errors or mistakes
  • Piracy and plagiarism
  • No creativity in some cases
  • For some students new technology can be hard to cope with
  • Battery performance in some cases
  • Internet connection issue
  • Paper is more comfortable way to study than monitor
  • Less Teacher Student interaction
